NEW!!!!!! SOE LIBRARY - ARTS CENTRE OPEN FOR JANUARY 2011!!! Thanks to SOE Volunteer and by trade Quality Engineer and librarian Ms. Sheryl - the SOE Library with Arts Centre will be open Saturdays for special enrollment or drop in between classes or for readers to come exclusively for Book reading & library all on it's own! Come to registration for more details. Students enrolled in SOE programs may hang out and find a book or some arts & crafts to hold them over until their next class!

BALLET: instructed by Principal Dancer Carolyn Currey of the Soli Deo Gloria Ballet Company. Ballerina & accredited instructor with the Royal Academy of Dance, Carolyn will be instructing all levels of dance, from beginner to advanced ballet, boys and girls, teens and an adult class. BALLET FEES:
* $25 student registration fee will be waived for all early bird registrations received in person at the Centre by January 8th * $47. Monthly for one class of Ballet technique. * 2nd class is half off, per family member. * Recommended for Ballet - Two classes (technical class and a choreography worship class) two hours of weekly Saturday classes. * Post dated checks required for 3 months - the first quarter. $25 NSF will be charge and cash or certified checks from then on will be required * cash or check only - no debit, credit or atm is available as SOE is a charity.

Qualified proof is required – child tax statement from July of 2010 for the current year to June 2011 are required yearly to qualify stating family receives NCB supplement and geared to income chart, for partial payment of tuition. The Queen Esther School of Excellence is dedicated to helping girls discover their own leadership skills and to use the greatness they discover within to help transform the world around them.
This 4 day Saturday interactive fun course for pre-teen & teen girls will build skills of excellence for personal improvement, spiritual guidance, youth leadership, health & fitness, creative arts expression for worship with praise flags & dance, mentorship & skill development in; • Good character, positive friendships & servant leadership. • Manicuring & nail artistry, inner & outer beauty, grooming, wardrobe and poise. • Healthy self-esteem, confidence, friendship, etiquette, public speaking and conversation skills.
As young women go about their day, attend school, and consider the future these are the skills that last a lifetime and can open doors of opportunity.

WRITER'S WORKSHOPS: writers of all ages; Adults, boys and girls: ages 10 and up "You Can Write a Book!" Workshop, taught by author Rachel Starr Thomson, will help young writers learn to outline a book and teach them the basics of Setting, Characters, and Plot. Sessions will include writing, interaction, and outlining our books together. For writers 10 and up who dream of someday writing a book of their own--they can do it, and Rachel will show them how!

* Learn the art of flag baton twirling * prepare for competition and join the SOE Flag Company, which has performed at over 100 community events, including the Rogers Centre Skye Dome for over 25,000 audience. * Get fit, develop team spirit as well as why dance and praise God with the flags by learning rudiments of flag batons, scriptures, dances to positive faith based music.
FLAG TWIRLING FEE: $80 per session - 12 classes. Half price tuition for students already enrolled in other classes, or per additional family member
